Recruitment Rally For Indian Air Force From May 5

Candidates from 10 districts can participate

Amritsar, April 12 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Indian Air force has announced the recruitment drive for 10 districts of Punjab from May 5 to 10 at  Air Force Station Rajasansi, Amritsar. The districts included Amritsar, Muktsar, Hosiarpur, Firozpur , Moga, Tarntaran, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Jalandhar and Faridkot.

Disclosing this here today Deputy Commissioner Mr. Kamaldeep Singh Sangha said that  the recruitment test for Group ‘Y’ (non-technical trade) will be held at Air Force Station Rajasansi,  from 5 AM onwards. Candidates from Amritar, Muktsar, Hosiarpur, Firozpur and Moga have been called for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Written Test on May 5 and  adaptability Test (I & II) for candidates passed written tests would be held  on May 6.

For Tarntaran, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Jalandhar and Faridkot, candidates would appear for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Written Test on May 7, whereas Adaptability Test (I & II) for candidates passed written tests , would be conducted on May 8.

He also made it clear that the selection test is not for selection as Officers/Pilots/Navigators.

In eligibility Criteria Candidates should born between 07 Jul. 1997 to 20 Dec. 2000 (both days inclusive) and in educational Qualification Candidate should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream/ subjects approved by central/state education boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

The Medical Standards demanded by the air force includes 152.5 CM. All eligible candidates would have to undergo for Physical Fitness Test (before written test). All candidates are advised to bring their sports shoes and shorts. He also made it clear that extra weightage will be given to NCC A/B/C/ certificate holders who clears the all tests.
