Playwright-Director Sanjeevan Singh elected President for the 13th time.

Mohali, April 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – In a general body meeting of Sarghi Kala Kendra Mohali- an amateur theater group established in the year 1991, the noted playwright and director Sanjeevan Singh has been elected its President for continuous 13^th time for 2017-2019. Having written about more than a dozen of original plays besides half a dozen adaptations, I.C.Nanda awardee, Sanjeevan Singh is the General Secretary of Indian People’s Theater Association (IPTA) of the Punjab Chapter. Besides him the office bearers of the Kendra who were also elected unanimously are Savi Satwinder Kaur- Senior Vice Presidnet, Kulwinder Bawa- Vice President, Ashok Bajheri- General Secretary, Gurpreet Dhaliwal- Joint Secretary, Sanjeev Diwan ‘Kuku’– Finance Secretary, Gopal Singh- Joint Finance Secretary and Ranjivan Singh– Press Secretary. The executive members includes Lakhwinder Singh, Narinder Kaur Nasreen, Mani Sabharwal, Ritu Raag Kaur and Risham Raag Singh. Major Nagra (Canada), Manoj Aggarwal, Krishan Lal Saini, Dr. Jaswant Singh and Shri. Gurinderjeet Singh has been nominated as advisors of the Kendra.
