Capt. Amarinder shocked at Death of 10 Pilgrims from Amritsar

Directs Team to Rush to Accident Site

 Amritsar, June 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today expressed deep shock and grief over the Captain Amrinder Singhdeath of 10 pilgrims from Amritsar in a fatal accident in Himachal Pradesh. He expressed sorrow at the mishap, which also left 45 injured, when a private bus carrying the pilgrims fell into a gorge after negotiating a sharp curve near Dhaliara in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.  On the directions of Captain Amarinder, the Deputy Commissioner Amritsar has rushed a team, comprising a tehsildar, Assistant Civil Surgeon along with police officials, to the mishap site to extend all possible help to the families of the victims, besides ensuring best treatment for the injured. The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar was in constant touch with the Sub Divisional Magistrate of Dehra, who was entrusted to oversee the entire relief and rescue operations, an official spokesperson said.
