Amritsar, may 20 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Students of Bachelor of Multimedia, BBK DAV College for Women excelled and maintained their previous record of meritorious positions in Guru Nanak Dev University results, 2015.The students of Department of Multimedia, BBK DAV College for Women, have again brought glory to the institution by bagging top positions in the university.
In Bachelor of Multimedia VIIth Semester, Ferry Sachdeva and Nisha Bhopal stand 1st in the University scoring 697 out of 700. Sheena Dhingra stands 3rd in university scoring 693 out of 700. Aanchal Devgan stands 4th in university scoring 692 out of 700. Sabrina Kaur stands 5th in university scoring 691 out of 700.
Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra felicitated the students and motivated them to maintain the good work in future as well. She also appreciated the Faculty of Multimedia for putting in a lot of effort along with the students.

Dept of Multimedia is running Bachelor of Multimedia, a four year degree course in Multimedia, Masters of Multimedia and a skill oriented degree, Bachelor of Vocation in entertainment technology, a new course with an aim to train students for film, television and web media. The department got a special grant from UGC to run this course and has state of the art labs and equipment for the students. Students will be trained facilitated & for the jobs opportunities in the Industry. The entire faculty to train the students has been hired from Entertainment Industry.
