Seminar on “Awareness of Career Opportunities for Graduate Students” by BBK DAV College

Amritsar, Oct. 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Placement Cell of BBK DAV College for Women Organized one day Seminar regarding the “Awareness of Career Opportunities for Graduate Students” in collaboration with TCS (Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.).TCS is one of the best IT services, consulting business solutions organization in India. Various Students of BCA, B.Sc. (IT) and B.Sc. (C.Sc) final year attended the seminar.

Ms. Harkiran Kaur, working as Software Engineer in TCS, gave presentation on the “Open Ignite” programme prevalent in TCS. She explained Open Ignite programme which is itself treated as the largest community of science graduates in the country. It helps science students to launch their careers, by improving their chances of being employed with a host of practice aptitude tests and programming challenges. Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and Mr. Manoj Puri, placement coordinator welcomed the representative of TCS and guided the students with their skillful knowledge.
