Excellent Paper Award to GNDU Researcher

Amritsar, Sept. 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  Sandip Singh, a Ph.D. student of Department of Botanical and Environmental Sciences of Guru Nanak Dev University got Excellent Paper Award in recently held IIER International Conference on Natural Science and Environment (ICNSE) organized by International Institute of Engineers and Researchers (IIER) in Bangkok, Thailand.

He gave oral presentation of his paper titled “Distribution and source identification of heavy metals in agricultural soil of district Amritsar, India: A multivariate statistical analysis”. He was also awarded with financial assistance for attending this conference by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, under its International Travel Support Scheme, which provides financial support for young researchers.
