BBK DAV College for Women participated in country’s biggest ever cleanliness drive “Swachh Bharat “

Amritsar, Oct. 2 ( Punjab Post Bureau)- All the teaching and Non teaching staff of BBK DAV College for Women participated in country’s biggest ever cleanliness drive “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” today. A detailed plan has been worked out for the period from 3^rd to 31^st Oct. 2014. NSS Volunteers of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, continued the cleanliness drive initiated in the college by taking cleanliness pledge for 100 hours in a year i.e. 2 hours in a week along with all teaching and non teaching staff members of the college. Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, Local Management Committee, Sh. Salil Kapoor member Local Managing Committee and Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra were also present to initiate the pledge ceremony. The Principal motivated all the staff and students to be part of this drive. She instructed that the plan should be chalked out for the entire session. NSS Volunteers Pratibha, Dheerika and Sakshi delivered speeches in this regard.
