SGHPS Gives Farewell To Headmistress

Amritsar, August 1 (Manjit Kaur)- “ May the road rise up to meet you , may the wind be ever at your back , may the sun shine warm upon your face and rain fall softly on your fields . May God hold you in hollow of his hand.” These were the words which reverberated in all hearts at Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School G.T. Road when a warm farewell was given to the Headmistress Mrs. Rajdavinder Gill. It was somber day gripped with nostalgia. Mrs. Raj dedicated 35 years of her life to the services of the school. Children and teachers gave flowers, cards and gifts to their beloved headmistress . Principal Dr. Dharam Veer Singh was all praise for Mrs. Rajdawinder who worked untiringly to take the school to its present glorious heights . Member Incharge of school, S. Harminder Singh said that it would be difficult to fill the void that would be created after her. He wished her a happy and healthy life post retirement. Lunch was served afterwards.
