Inter College Quiz Competition held at BBK DAV College for Women

Amritsar, 3 September (Jagdeep Singh Saggu) – The Department of History of BBK DAV College for Women organized an Inter College Quiz Competition in collaboration with Gandhian and Ambedkar Yuva Club, a unit of UGC Sponsored Epoch Making Social Thinker of India during XII Plan. Dr. Vishav Bandhu Head Department of History DAV College, Amritsar gave a thought provoking speech and enlightened the students about the prospects of History in all competitive exams. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra congratulated the winners and gave away the prize. She also encouraged the departments of various colleges to hold such competitions for a healthy interaction of the students. Prince and Lovepreet of DAV College bagged the first prize, Pratibha and Shivani of BBK DAV College stood second and Gautam and Sahil of DAV College stood third and consolation prize went to Prabhnoor and Saloni. Dr. Komal Sekhon, Head department of History thanked the participating teams and encouraged them to be part of these academics feasts. Others who were present included Dr. Seema Arora, Prof. Naresh Kumar, Prof. Munish, Ms. Shashi Suri and Mrs. Reena Bala.
