Vijay Mashaal Reaches Tibri

Amritsar, March 24 (Punjab Post Bureau)  – The Swarnim Vijay Mashal on its journey in Vajra Corps- Defenders of Punjab area of responsibility , was accorded a grand reception at Tibri by War Veterans , Veer Naris BSF Personnels NCC cadets , school children , locals and clvil dignitaries were also present during the event organised at Har Maidan Fateh Stadium in Tibiri Military Station The Mashal was received by veterans of 1971 War . Brigade Commanders of Dera Baba Nanak and Ravi Brigade led the solemn ceremony held to commemorate the spectacular victory of India. Thereafter the events included felicitations of war veterans & Veer Naris , who were given an rousing reception by everyone at Tibri . The event also included Physical Training display, impressive band display and karate show. Cultural event on patriotic theme was performed by Army public school and local school children. The war veterans nostalgically recounted the events of 1971 war which was met with thunderous applause by the audience.
