Guest lecture on spectroscopy organized at BBK DAV College

Amritsar, Nov. 5 (Punjab Post Bureau)- A DBT sponsored guest lecture on spectroscopy was organized by Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology at BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar. The lecture was delivered by Dr. T.S. Lobana, Professor and Scientist, Chemistry Department, GNDU. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra accorded a floral welcome to the recourse person.

During his lecture, Dr. Lobana spoke on different branches of spectroscopy and their applications. The lecture was very informative for the students as their concepts were made clear by the recourse person with suitable examples. A rangoli competition based on science was also held by the end of lecture. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and Dr. Lobana felicitated the winners. While speaking on the occasion Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra appreciated the efforts of the department for giving students an opportunity to interact with resource person. Dr. Poonam Khullar, Mrs. Rashmi Kalia, Mrs. Vandana, Mrs. Aabroo, Mrs. Rajni, Ms. Anu Saini, Ms. Ravleen, Ms. Parminder, Ms. Divya, Ms. Shelja, Ms. Simar & Ms. Shivani were also present on the occasion.
