BBK DAV College became Champion in Rifle Shooting

Amritsar, Nov. 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Rifle Shooting team of BBK DAV College for Women won the GNDU Inter College Championship and Pistol Shooting Team got Runner up position held at GNDU Campus. Both teams gave a splendid show by defeating S.D. College, Jalandhar and Khalsa College. Shailja and Kulwinder got 1^st & 2^nd position in Rifle Shooting. Whereas Ayushi got 3^rd position in Pistol Shooting. Four players Ramandeep, Ayushi, Shailja and Kulwinder are selected for All India Intervarsity Shooting Championship camp which is going to be held at Varanasi in the month of January, 2016. Other team members are Chanda , Monika, Shikha and Himanshi. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Mrs. Sweety Bala H.O.D, Sports Department felicitated the students and motivated them to maintain the good position in future as well. Ms. Aruna and Ms. Rajwant Kaur teachers of the sports department congratulated the students for their achievement.
