Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School Airport Road conducted a seminar on World Aids Day

Amritsar, Dec. 2 (Punjab Post Bureau)-World Aids Day was celebrated in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School,  Airport Road under the supervision of Principal Ravinder Kaur Bumra. Dr. Manmohan Singh Khanna member Incharge conducted a seminar for the students of 9^th and 10^th classes on World Aids Day. Dr. Manmohan Singh Khanna highlighted the students about the cause, symptoms, effects and preventive measures. He ensured the students to adopt safe blood transfusion and safe syringes/needles to fulfill the theme for zero HIV infections. The students put banners and posters. Principal Ravinder Kaur Bumra thanked member incharge Dr. Manmohan Singh Khanna and S. Amarjit Singh Sabharwal. In her speech she stressed upon the prevention of Aids as there is no cure for it and we need awareness in all forms. She also spoke about the equal status to be given to AIDS infected people. Touching and taking with HIV infected people will not only console them but also give them hope and new life.
