Officer Association Felicitate its retiring XEN Er. Mokesh Sharma

Amritsar June 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Today Officers’ Association organized farewell party in honour of its former President, Officers’ Association and XEN Er.Mokesh Sharma at Conference Hall, Guru Nanak Bhawan. Er.Mokesh Sharma who had joined the University as Assistant Engineer in the year 1981 was promoted to the post of Executive Engineer (Design) in 1999. In 2001 he was promoted as Incharge, Executive Engineer of Construction and Engineering Department of Guru Nanak Dev University. He retired today as the Head of the same Department after putting in 35 years of service.

     Professor N.S.Tung, Dean, Academic Affairs and Dr.S.S.Dhillon, Registrar, GNDU, Amritsar were present to grace the occasion. University authorities highly applauded the contribution made by XEN Er.Mokesh Sharma in the infrastructural development of University and particularly appreciated his role in Designing of Velodrome, Swimming Pool and Auditorium in the newly built building of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan.

      Dr.Rajesh Kalia, President, Officers’ Association recalled the overall contribution of Er.Mokesh Sharma in the growth of Officers’ Association during his two stint as President, Officers’ Association. The other retired member Sh.Manwinder Singh, Superintendent was also felicitated on the occasion. The other present were; S.Tirath Singh, Secretary, Mrs.Renu Puri, Vice-President, Sh.Naresh Nandan, Joint Secretary, Sh.Surinderejit Singh, Cashier and all other Members of the Officers’ Association.
