BBK DAV College organizes ‘Nav Sugandhi Fresher’s Fiesta -2018’

Amritsar, Aug. 28 (Punjab Post Bureau) – To unravel fresh talent and to welcome the new entrants to the college, BBK DAV organized Nav Sugandhi Fresher’s Fiesta -2018 on 28^th August, 2018. It was the culmination of various talent hunt programs organized independently by different wings of Youth Welfare Deptt in Theatre, Music Vocal, Music Instrument, Home Science, Dance, Commercial Art, Literary items, Design and other Departmental Talent hunt activities which had been conducted during the last fortnight. The program was presided over by the Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia. The main attraction of the program was the Fashion Show which brought to the stage the best of Beauties with Brains in the session 2018-19. A rich assortment of dance and music items were also presented during the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia extended a warm welcome to the freshers, honoured the winners of various competitions and motivated the students to fill as much action in the journey of life as possible. She exhorted them to chisel and polish their personalities inside & out & emphasized upon the significance of hard work, discipline, ethics in addition to social and familial values.

Fiza of BCA Sem –I won the title of Miss BBK Charming, Mehak Kashyap of +1 Medical got the title of Miss BBK Confident and Shreya of BBA Sem –I was crowned Miss BBK intellectual. The panel of judges included Dr. Rupinder Pal, Prof. Anu Khanna & Prof. Anterpreet. The function was organized by Youth welfare Department of the college under the supervision of Prof. Naresh Kumar, Dean, Youth Welfare Department.
