Amritsar, October 23 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Those winning students were honoured by the SGPC President Bibi
Jagir Kaur, who had participated in various religious competitions organised by the SGPC among the students of various schools dedicated to the Parkash Gurpurb of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji. The students were honoured with mementoes, appreciation certificates during the events ongoing at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall and they were motivated by Bibi Jagir Kaur.
On this occasion Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the school students have paid homage and respect to Guru Sahib by participating in the religious competitions conducted during the Prakash Gurpurb ceremonies. She said during these competitions children have shown good performance in poetry, painting, religious lectures, quizzes, etc. She said that such competitions create interest about the life philosophy of the Gurus among the children and youth.
On this occasion the manager of Sri Darbar Sahib S. Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, Baghel Singh, Narinder Singh, research scholars Bibi Ranjit Singh, Bibi Harpreet Kaur, Bibi Simranjit Kaur, Bibi Kirandeep Kaur, Bibi Gurmeet Kaur, Rajwinder Singh Joga, Armanjit Singh and others were present.
