Free Maha Arogya Shivir and Blood Donation Camp’ organized by ‘Ekata Manch’

Mumbai, April 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) – ‘Free Maha Arogya Shivir, Cancer Screening and Blood Donation Camp’ was organised by Ajay Kaul President of social organization, ‘Ekata Manch’ at Children Welfare Centre High School Ground, Yari Road, Andheri (West) Mumbai. More than 150 doctors participated and treated housands of Eye & dental, children & women, skin disease and ear, nose, throat patients. ECG, cancer and blood test tests were done free of cost. Ayurvedic doctors checked the patients; spectacles were also distributed to the needy. Blood donation camp was also organized. Doctors from Nair Hospital Cooper Hospital, Sion Hospital and some other private doctors also participated in the camp. All the doctors and guests were honored by Ajay Kaul.

                  Mr. Ajay Kaul said that the organization provides all kind of help for operation to the poor and needy by organizing such camps continuously for the last 15 years, except 2 years during Corona outbreak. During this period medical help was given which included blood donation camp, distribution of sanitizers and medicines, vaccination drive, food donation, hospitalization, providing ambulance and oxygen facilities free of by the organization, he said.

             Prashant Kashid Activity Chairman of Children Welfare Centre High School, said that in 2007 a young child Saugat was brought from Nepal by his parents, he was suffering from cancer. Living with Ajay he was undergoing treatment. The child was so attached to Mr. Ajay Kaul that he used to introduce him to the people by calling him his son. Unfortunately he passed away after 8 months. Since then, in his memory, we organize such great camps, so that patients could be treated on time.”

                    Ajay Kaul, Prashant Kashid, Kishori Pendnekar, Ashok Bhau Jadhav, Shailesh Phadse, Bala Ambedkar, Dr. Zahir Ghazi, Yakub Memon, Dr. Roshan Sheikh, Altaf Khan, Raghunath Kulkarni, Siraj Inamdar, Pratima Khopde, Shailesh Mohit etc together made the program successful.
