BBK DAV celebrates 117th Birth Anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand

Amritsar, September (Punjab Post Bureau) – BBK DAV College for Women celebrated National Sports Day to mark the 117th Birth Anniversary of Hockey Wizard Major Dhyan Chand. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia highlighted the importance of Hockey as the National Sport of India. The Students were apprised of its long-standing rich legacy and Major Dhyan Chand’s contribution in making India a force to reckon with, through this sport.
