ICICI Bank donated an ambulance to Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital Vallah

Amritsar, January 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) – As a part of its corporate social responsibility programme, the ICICI Bank donated a hi-tech and fully equipped ambulance to Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital, Vallah, here. Zonal Head ICICI Foundation, Mr. Abhay Sharma presented the keys of the vehicle to Dr. A.P Singh, Additional Secretary of the Institution.

Admiring the work done by Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital for the treatment of the patients Mr. Abhay Sharma with various official, handed over the keys on Tuesday. He said that just as the Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital has strengthened the medical infrastructure by providing state-of-the-art treatment facilities to the patients in the district, similarly the purpose of this donation is to further strengthening medical infrastructure and to provide all the necessary and modish facilities to needy citizens. He added, this support will boost the healthcare infrastructure of this area, in terms of transporting patients and doctors from far-flung zones and providing people with access to basic healthcare facilities such as routine check-ups, diagnosis and treatment.

Appreciating the gesture shown by officials of the bank, Dr. AP Singh said that the vehicle would act as a lifesaver for victims of road accidents and other emergencies.
