70 Criminal Compoundable cases disposed off in National Lok Adalat

Amritsar, Sept. 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – National Lok Adalat held today pertaining to Criminal Compoundable matters) at District Courts as per directions given by National Legal Services Authority. Total 3 benches have been constituted; one bench of Sh. Surinder Singh Sahni, Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar and one bench of Sh. Gagandeep Singh Garg, Additional Civil Judge Senior Division, Amritsar were constituted at District Courts, Amritsar and as well as one bench of Sh. Chetan Sharma, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ajnala was constituted at Sub Division Level for taking up and disposal of maximum cases related to the Criminal Compoundable matters in National Lok Adalat. Total 150 cases were taken up in this National Lok Adalat and 70 cases were disposed off. Settled amount in this National Lok Adalat is Rs.2,07,47,278/-( Two Crore Seven Lac Forty Seven  Thousand Two hundred seventy eight Rupees Only ).
