Annual election of GNDU (Non-Teaching) Employees Association scheduled for October 27

Amritsar, October 21 (Punjab Post Bureau)- All the necessary arrangements have been made for the conduct of annual election to Guru Nanak Dev University (Non-Teaching) Employees Association 2016-17 scheduled for October 27, 2016 said Dr. Shyamal Koley, Returning Officer.  He said, the employees would cast their votes at the main campus at Amritsar from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm in the Sangat Hall of the Guru Nanak Bhawan of the University. At University Regional Campus, Jalandhar, the voting would be held from 10 am to 1 pm while the employees at the University Regional Campus, Gurdaspur would use their voting right from 10 am to 12 noon. The counting of votes would be held on the same evening from 5.30 pm till the results are out. He said that there are two fronts in the fray includes University Karamchari Democratic Front – symbol Uddaa Baaz and Democratic Employees Front – Symbol Babar Sher.
