Amritsar, Dec 29 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Shailza Yadav of BBK DAV College won a bronze medal in All India Intervarsity Air Rifle Shooting Championship held at GNDU Campus, Amritsar. Also, Air Rifle Shooting team of the college got runners-up position in GNDU Inter College Air Rifle Shooting Championship. College team gave a splendid show by defeating HMV College, Jalandhar. Team members were Ms. Shailza Yadav, Himanshi Bhardwaj, Km Diksha Sheoran and Chanda. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. She added that the college players have always made a mark in various Championships and, as a result, BBK DAV is a forerunner in sports. Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, along with other faculty members, felicitated the players on their achievements.
