Jandiala Guru, May 30 (Punjab Post –Harinder Pal Singh) – Advancement in technology has helped students to study critical topics in an easy manner by using various apps ,eBooks etc. But on other side students of rural govt. school are lacking behind from these facilities .Karandeep Singh APO Jandiala Guru said that it was being noticed that mathematics is one of the toughest subjects for students. So this emphasis us on constructing Mathematical Park in Government High School, Devidaspura of Block Jandiala Guru (District Amritsar) under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural employment Guarantee Act i.e MG Nrega. This project was initiated and completed by BDPO (Jandiala Guru) of that time Madam Jeenat Khehra under the leadership of Ravinder Singh, Additional Deputy commissioner (Dev.) Amritsar. This project was inaugurated by Sukhwinder Singh Danny MLA Jandiala Guru. Approximately 10 lasc has been spent on formation of Math Park as well as tiles paving work on the corridors of school. Different three dimensional structures of diagram according to their syllabus has been built with their formulas. For instance circle, cone, angle, triangle, square, cylinder, cube etc. On other hand pencil shaped 26 pillars are constructed around the park with tables written on it. S. Balbir Singh Principal Government High school Devidaspura has told that math park has made it easy for learning mathematics in easy and better way for the students. Those diagram which were quite problematic for students to understand; now they are no more difficult. Students of primary class are often seen learning tables while playing in recess. Education has now become edutainment for the students and this MG NREGA project has succeeded in bridging gap between Mathematics and students.
