Amritsar, January 24 (Punjab Post bureau) – The online application process under Agneepath Scheme will run from 8thFebruary to 21st March 2024 for 2024-25. The portal (joinindianarmy.nic.in) will remain open during this period.
While giving the information by Recruiting Director Colonel Chetan Pande Army Recruitment Office Amritsar said that for the online examination, the candidate will have to pay an examination fee of Rs.250/- per applicant. The recruitment of Agniveers for the recruitment year 2024-25 will be done in two phases. The first phase will be online computer based written examination (Online CEE) and the second phase will be recruitment rally (Physical strength, measurement and documentation). It is mandatory for candidates interested in recruitment to register their names on the website before21stMarch 2024 only.
Recruiting Director told that aspirants from districts of Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Pathankot who are in age group of 17½ to 21 Yrs and have completed 8th, 10th or 12th class or appeared for examination in 8th, 10th and 12thclass and awaiting for declaration of results are also eligible to apply, providing they fulfill all other eligibility criteria.
The posts of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Clerk and Store Keeper Technical, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass and Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass are for all the Armed Forces. Candidates who have fulfilled the minimum educational and age limit qualifications can apply online under this scheme.
From Recruiting year 2024-25, typing test for Agniveer Clerk and Store Keeper Technical will be introduced alongwith Online CEE. Candidates are advised to carry out necessary practice prior to commencement of test.
In reference to NCC, Sports and ITI certificates, candidates are advised to fill genuine/valid details only otherwise his candidature will be rejected at later stage.
All candidates are advised to link their mobile number with Aadhar Card and preferably have Digi Locker account before proceeding for registration.
