‘World Health day” was celebrated in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Friends Avenue

Amritsar, Apr. 7 (Punab Post Bureau) – ‘World Health day” was celebrated in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Friends Avenue. On this occasion a special seminar was held is which Dr. Gagandeep Singh MS, DNB. Surgical Oncology Surjit Hospital, Airport Road and S. Narinder Singh (Head of Pharmacy) made us aware of cancer and how to avoid it. He spoke in detail about the symptoms of cancer and also told us how to avoid them whatever he said was meaningful. He also said that 90% we aweless are responsible for suffering from this fatal disease. To avoid this deadly disease we must be very cautious and particular about for food and other things. He advised us to take exercise regularly and get medical checkup from time to time. The students and teachers also participated in thuis seminar. In the end the staff and the students thanked Dr. Gagandeep Singh and his team and Principal Ravinder Kaur Bumra also honoured them.
