Financial Literacy Workshop by Punjab Gramin Bank

Amritsar, July 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A Financial Literacy Workshop was organized by PGB, BO F. P Kalan at Jyoti Palace, Vill Gugran. Sh. A. K Pasrija , GM , NABARD,  R O, Chandigarh was Chief Guest . GM, PGB Sh S. K Aggarwal , DDM , NABARD, Gurdasppur, P. S Randhawa, DCO, PGB, Gurdaspur, Smt. Adarsh Kanta,  Manager,  BO F P Kalan, Sh. Kartar Chand, SR Manager, PGB BO Pathannkot  and Sh. Pawan Salhotra, Manager,  B.O Malikpur were also present.  A large no Sarpanches , member Panchayats, farmers,  member of Farmer Clubs , members of women SHGs and other valuable Customer of PGB   of nearby villages  were present. Sh. P. S Randhawa , DCO, PGB , explained the importance of  PMJDY Accounts,  PMSBY, PMJJBY and Atal  Pension  Scheme, DBT and about measures and methods of  Financial Literacy. Sh Sanjiv Sharama, DDM, NABARD, Gurdaspur spoke about various credit and subsidy Scheme. Sh S K Aggarwal, GM, PGB HO Kapurthala explained the role of PGB in Punjab in rural development of Punjab. Sh A K Pasrija , GM, NABARD,  RO, Chandigarh explained in detail the importance of Financial Management, Insurance, SHGs , JLGs and stressed the need for regular operation  of  PMJDY ACs ,to get  cover under PMSBY, PMJJBY,APY etc Smt Adarsh Kanta , BM , BO F P Kalan passed the Vote of thanks
