International school award for  DAV Public School

Amritsar, July 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, has added yet another feather in its cap by being accredited with the prestigious ‘International School Award’ for three years i.e 2015- 2018. The school received the award for outstanding development of international dimension in the curriculum. The Principal of the school Dr. Neera Sharma received the award at the glittering British Council School Awards Ceremony organised at New Delhi by the British Council. The International School Award recognises and celebrates exemplary practices of internationalism in schools. The school has received this award for the second time in a row which speaks volumes of the creative pedagogical practices along with rich learning experience provided to the students both in scholastic and co-scholastic areas in the school.

Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school thanked the council for their overwhelming support in enhancing the learning experience of the students. She added that she was happy and humbled to receive the award as it signifies the growth of the school on the global front. She said that the school  has always been committed to provide the best to the students in all spheres.
