Two Gold In CBSE National Rope Skipping for DAV Public School

Amritsar, January 6 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Two students of DAV Public School clinched Gold Medals in CBSE National  Rope Skipping Championship 2016-17 held in Maharashtra .In the prestigious National Level tournament, in which teams from all over India have participated , Divya Sabharwal and Drishti Sabharwal peformed par excellence. Divya Sabharwal of Std V won Gold Medal in 30 sec. speed sprint and Drishti Sabharwal of Std V bagged Gold Medal in speed Endurance. The school bagged overall Third prize in the championship based on the performance of the students. Regional Director Punjab Zone – A, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated  the students for their brilliant performance at  the National Level. Dr. Neera Sharm Principal of the School, while appreciating the efforts of the students wished that the New Year brings laurels for the school and the students shine in the fields of their choice.
