Door to Door, Chhina Plays Centre’s Card in the End, Gets Support from Parvasi Mazdoor

Amritsar, February 3 (Punjab Post Bureau)- BJP-SAD joint candidate for Amritsar Lok Sabha seat Rajinder Mohan Singh today played the Centre government card as he resorted to door to doo campaign and held meetings with the heads of various social and non-governmental organizations. He received a major support from Uttar Pradesh Kalyan Parishad following meeting with its President Dr.JP Singh and other office bearers as he promised all support from `parvasi mazdoor’ (migrant labourers). He started his day with paying obeisance at religious shrines including Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple and then resorted to one to one meeting that included representatives of various associations of industrialist and traders. After this he went for door to door in the various locations in the city including Rani Ka Bagh, Chheherta, Khandwala, Focal Point. He said that with the Centre government of Modi belonging to his party, it will be helpful for him to bring liberal central development grants for the area.

            Chhina promised employment generation, courses for the youth and women and said his priorities if elected to parliament will be border areas development, strengthening of infrastructure including road, rail and air traffic, new rail corridor, putting the city to the international map of tourism and trade, bringing investments in the industry for employment generation, giving push to educational, health and sports facilities and overall beautification of the city and general rural areas development. Earlier he met head of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Association Dr.RK Dhawan and other office bearers Amit Kapoor and Ajay Kumar. He also met President of Laghu Udyog Bharti Chief JP Singh and President of Focal Point Welfare Association Kamal Dalima as these industrialists declared their support for Chhina.  During his meetings he hit out at Congress and AAP for playing divisive and distorting politics as he said the SAD-BJP coalition government not only maintained the peace and communal harmony in state but initiated unprecedented development. He added that previous MPs Navjot Singh Sidhu and Captain Amarinder Singh ignored the area.
