Centre Should Stop undeclared emergency of Sikkim Government against Sikhs – G.K

New Delhi, Apr. 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DSGMC President Manjit Singh G.K. announced legal fight for the controversial comments of commander Abdul Rehmaan Makki about Guru Nanak Dev Ji and prohibited the entry of Sikhs in Sikkim. While talking to the journalists G.K told that Sikkim Government had banned the entry of Sikh pilgrims In Gurdwara Dangmar Sahib which is related to Guru Nanak Dev Ji. For which, today he had sent the letter to Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of Minority affairs Mukhtar Abbas Nakvi and the chairman of National Minority Commission.

G.K said that the order of Sikkim Government is like their undeclared emergency with the fundamental rights directly given by constitution to the citizens. So that Central Government should order Sikkim Government to ban the partiality with Sikhs on the basis of religion. On one side China states Sikkim is their territory and on other side we assume Sikkim is the integral part of India. But, just Sikhs being stopped to enter Sikkim, this will give the negative message to Sikhs that probably Sikkim is going to create new own country to continue passports for Sikhs.

G.K. informed that according to Blasphemy Law he will file the complaint to the President & Prime Minister of Pakistan and the President of PSGPC Tara Singh & General Secretary Gopal Singh Chawla against Makki in Pakistan. G.K said that this will be the duty of the committee of Pakistan to order Police to file a complaint according to the blasphemy law against Makki.

G.K said that the devotees of worldwide will come to Pakistan for the celebration of 550^th Parkash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in 2019. So before all these, Pakistan government should give the evidence of the state of legislation by making strict legal proceedings against Makki the brother-in-law of Hafiz Sayeed. G.K indicated that DSGMC can go to International court if Pakistan Government fails to file complaint against Makki.
