Host GNDU stands first in All India Shooting Championship

Amritsar, November 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – All India Inter University Shooting Championship (Men Women) concluded here today in the Shooting Range of the Guru Nanak Dev University . This Championship was hosted by University.

Host Guru Nanak Dev University Was Champion in Men section and JMI New Delhi and SP Pune was second  while Punjabi University was third in this section in Women Section Delhi University Was Champion followed by Punjab University , Chandigarh as second and Guru Nanak Dev University finished third in Women section in these competitions Overall Championship goes to Guru Nanak Dev University. Panjab University, Chandigarh and Delhi University remained second. similarly SP PUNE & JMI New Delhi finished third.

Vice-chancellor Prof. Ajaib Singh Brar was the chief guest and give away trophies to the winners. Dr. H.S Randhawa,Deputy Director (sports) gave the details about the activities of the department. Dr.Pushpinder Kaur, Prinicipal BBK, DAV college and President GNDU women welcomed the chief guest and others. Dr. Gurpinder Singh, Prinicipal Layalpur Khalsa college jalander and president GNDU men presented vote of thanks.
