Amritsar, May 6 (Punjab Post Bureau) –
It was a day full of bright ideas and positive motivation for the students of Food Production, Std XI and XII, when they were addressed by Chef Nakul Gulati, a 2010 alumnus who is currently freelancing as a Bakery Chef, although he has been receiving offers to join prestigious hotels such as the Taj. He did his 9 months training in 2016 from Le Cordon Bleu, London and passed out with prodigal culinary skills as a Chef de Partie. He interacted with the food production students and his mentors, and gave them wonderful insights about how the world of cooking and baking skills can open up new vistas of growth and success, if a person is focused and dedicated to the craft. He also presented a live demo of baking skills in the school’s food production lab. It was a highly enriching moment for young chefs and a proud one for those who had groomed him and honed his skills as a student during school years.
Dr. (Mrs) Neelam Kamra Regional Director Punjab Zone – A was highly appreciative and pleased by this interaction provided to the students and the School Manager, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College, Amritsar was also equally glad and expressed his delight at the fact that Nakul Gulati had completed his graduation from DAV College Amritsar and brought laurels to both his school and college. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal DAV Public School Lawrence Road was all praise for the ex-student’s achievements and motivated the students to aspire higher and follow Nakul’s example to achieve success in life.
