Two days Tourism Fest on 13th and 14th October by GNDU

Amritsar, October 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Department of Hotel Management and Tourism Guru Nanak Dev University is organizing Two days Tourism Fest on 13th and 14th October, 2022 to commemorate World Tourism Day. The theme of the fest is “Rethinking Tourism” which aims at developing tousim and preserving Indian heritage and culture by focusing on sustainability.

A plethora of activities like cultural performances depicting various types of tourism, stall exhibits, talent show, flash mob, tambola, and fun games will be arranged for the visitors. The live concert by Musafir Band will be one of the most intriguing part of the celebration. Numerous food stalls will offer a variety of delectable cuisines for visitors delight. The main objective of the fest will be promotion of tourism and maintaining competitiveness of India as a tourist destination.
