Guru Nanak Dev University ‘B’ Zone Zonal Youth Festival concluded

Amritsar, October 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Zonal Youth Festival of Zone ‘B’ of the Guru Nanak Dev University was concluded in Dasmesh Auditorium of the University. In ‘A’ Division  Swami Swatantranand Memorial College Dinanagar bagged the position of Overall Champion while Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar and  RRMK Arya  Mahila Mahavidyalaya  got second and third positions. In ‘B’ division  Shri Guru Angad Dev College, Khadur Sahib secured the position of Overall Champion, Sikh National College Qadian (Gurdaspur) got second and SL Bawa DAV College Batala secured third position in this festival. Mr. Shiv Darshan Singh Sandhu PPS ACP was the chief guest on this occasion and gave away tropies to the winners.

Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Dean Student Welfare and Dr. Amandeep Singh, Incharge Youth Welfare gave the trophies to the winning teams and congratulated all participating teams.

The competitions of Gidha and General Dance, the competitions of Western Vocal (Solo), Western Group Song, Western Instrumental (Solo) were organized.
