B.B.K organized a webinar on “Impact of Online Teaching during Covid 19”

Amritsar, September 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – PG Deptt. Of Computer Science and Applications organized a webinar “Impact of Online Teaching during Covid 19” on 31^st Aug, 2020. Dr. Sandeep Sood Professor and Head Deptt. Of Computer Science and Informatics Central University of Himachal Pradesh Dharamshala was the resource person.

               Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia Sharma in her welcome address, spoke about the transformative change brought about by COVID-19 in the age-old, chalk-talk model of teaching. She said that this shift towards online teaching has prompted a rapid growth in sources of e-learning and has enabled the students to resume their education from the safety of their homes.

                Dr. Sandeep Sood discussed the benefits of online learning, sources of E-learning, platforms of E-learning. He gave various examples of online learning platforms like Coursera, Khan Academy, Code Academy, YouTube, SWAYAM, DIKSHA, E-Paathshala and NPTEL etc.

              The webinar concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Kiran Gupta, Head, PG Dept. of Computer Science and Applications.
