New collector rates implemented in Kapurthala district for 2022-23

New segments of collector rates also created

Kapurthala, July 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – After the approval of Deputy commissioner Kapurthala Vishesh Sarangal, new collector rates for land has been implemented with immediate effect in the district for year 2022-23. The revenue department has also uploaded the new rates in land registration software.

            To make the collector rates more rational , Deputy commissioner while presiding over the meeting of Revenue and Rural development department officials few days back , has approved the proposal made by the revenue officials in this regard.

Deputy Commissioner said that the new rates have been fixed by keeping in view the commercial and residential value of land, its connectivity along the roads besides creating some new collector segments as per the requirement.

            For sultanpur lodhi sub Division, the new collector rates for 2022-23 have been increased by 15 % against the rates of 2021-22. Whereas in Bholath the rates has been enhanced in the range of 10% to 27 %.

            In Kapurthala sub division, in Urban estate the collector rate for residential area would be Rs. 8500 per square yard and for commercial area, it would be Rs. Rs. 2500 per square feet .

            In professor colony Rs.5200 per square yard has been fixed for residential area.

            On Kartarpur road from army Cantonment to kadupur chungi, the new collector rate for residential areas would be Rs.4200 per square yard whereas for commercial areas it would be Rs. 3500 per square feet.

            In Ajit nagar residential collector rate would be Rs.3000 per square yard and Rs.1900 per square feet for commercial areas. Model Town area would have Rs.5200 per square yard as residential collector rate and Rs.2500 per square feet for commercial area.

For rice shellers , factories and godowns , the rate would be Rs.2500 per square yard.

            In the jurisdiction of MC Kapurthala, the collector rate for land would be Rs.45 lakh per acre.

            In Phagwara sub division the new collector rates has been fixed nearly 20% more against the previous year in rural areas and 30% in urban areas
