First round of B.Ed. (CET) Admissions-2022 counselling completed

Amritsar, September 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Prof. (Dr.) Amit Kauts Coordinator B.Ed Admissions-2022, informed about the successful conclusion of the 1st round of counselling for B.Ed. (CET) Admissions-2022 for all the Colleges of  Education, affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University (Amritsar), Panjab University (Chandigarh) and Punjabi University (Patiala).  Dr. Kauts said that t the online Choice filling for major subject combination and Colleges for the 2nd Counselling can be done upto 23 September, 2022. The final allocation of seats to candidates shall be done on 28 September 2022 and they will have to report to the allocated colleges till 3 October, 2022.

He added  that the Self-Financed Colleges can start filling up of the management quota seats at their own level w.e.f. 29 September 2022 through an advertisement after the online allocation of seats concludes, and this admission against Management Quota seats should preferably be granted to those who appeared and qualified in the Common Entrance Test. Those candidates, who could not apply for or qualify the Common Entrance Testcan be admitted against the Management Quota seats if the seats are lying vacant in the college concerned and there is no qualified candidate available. The Online registration for such candidates will be available on the portal as per the schedule.

After the second counselling is over, if a candidate has otherwise qualified the Common Entrance Test but somehow could not be allocated any college (all categories), such a candidate can be granted admission by all categories of Colleges of Education at their own level latest by 6 October, 2022 and reported on the portal by 5 PM.
