CKD to associate students to their rich roots and Sikh valuable traditions

Amritsar, November 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – In a meeting held today under the chairmanship of CKD President Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar  CKD Dharma Prachar Committee members Tarlochan Singh, Harmanjit Singh and Bibi Kiranjot Kaur jointly said that  a  Two-day workshop dedicated to the forthcoming Prakash Utsav of the first Guru Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji will be held with a motto to  revive the ancient Kirtan tradition with Tanti Saj which were adopted and propagated by the Guru Sahibs. During this workshop, the students will be trained about Gurmat music with ancient Tantisaaz. They informed that religious scholars and Dharma Prachar Committee members will get students aware of the unparallel sacrifices of four Sahibjadas and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji from December 11 onwards, the days of deep sorrow in Sikh History. After that, in January 2024 Amrit Sanchar Programs motivating students towards Sikhi are planned to be organised to commemorate Parkash Gurpurab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh. During the meeting, President Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar appreciated the tireless efforts being made by the Dharam Parchar Committee to associate students to their rich roots and Sikh valuable traditions and emphasized the need of such efforts to protect  youth  from social evils in present era.

During the meeting, President Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, Honorary Joint Secretary Sukhjinder Singh Prince, Dharma Prachar Committee members including Bibi Kiranjot Kaur, Harmanjit Singh, Tarlochan Singh, Coordinator Dr. Jaswinder Kaur Mahal and a large number of religious teachers were present in the meeting.
