DAV Public School Student Reaches 2nd Level of ‘Finding Kalam’

Amritsar, Feb. 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Rohit Arora of Std XII ( Science ) of DAV Public School , Lawrence Road has reached the second level of ‘Finding Kalam’ – a reality show , sponsored by Extramarks. This show is not just a platform but a rare opportunity for the students to realise their potential. The show is designed exclusively for students of classes 6^th to 12^th from across the country.These students  have to compete at various levels to demonstrate their academic proficiency, extra – curricular talent, general knowledge and other skills. The first two levels consist of a series of online tests which would enable a student to qualify for further levels.  Rohit Arora of Std XII  , brought laurels to the school by clearing the first online round taken by students from all over India. He has qualified for the second level and received a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 1100. The show which is dedicated  to Late Dr.Kalam , Ex – President of India will take form of a Reality Show that will go On – Air on the leading news channel of the country News  Nation.

Regional Director , Punjab Zone – A , Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the student for his achievement. They added that it was very important for every student to know his /her capability and advance his /her labour in that direction.

Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school, applauded Rohit Arora for qualifying for the next level. She added that programmes and competitions like this provide vast exposure to the students and help them in exploring new avenues for themselves .She gave her best wishes to him for the next levels.
