CRPF and Forest department launches plantation drive

More than 200 saplings provided by forest dept. under mission ” Green Punjab”

Kapurthala, July 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Along with the duty to ensure the security of country, CRPF and forest department Punjab have launched the plantation drive today at Kanjli.

            The drive was launched by 245 BN at kanjli undee command of Dyanidhi Tanty commandent , Rajesh Kumar Sharma 21/C , Rakesh Kumar , Dy comdt, Yogesh Kumar Yadav Asstt. Comdt. Pradeep Kumar T., Medical Officer of this unit , Devenderpal singh forest range officer also participated along with all available Jawans of 245 Bn.

            Officials of the forest department said that to make the drive a huge sucess more than 200 Tree saplings of Pipal , Neem Bargad, kair kandir etc along with bamboo tree Guards were provided by the forest department.

            On this occasion commandant-245 battalion briefed all officers And jawans about the importance of the trees and their role in human life. He also insisted to all available officers and personnel to plant at least one tree each year which will help to keep the planet green. It is matter of pride for the unit that we are contributing our efforts in accomplishing the target of plantation of trees given by the Home ministary to the force for better environment and Healthy life style.

              He also conveyed gratitude to forest guard Fulla Singh and other officials in-Charge Kapurthala for their help and co-operation provided to the unit and force.
