Chandrakant Shirsat retired after working 40 years in Post Office

Mumbai, June 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Regardless of the rain, cold and heat, the postman always delivers letters to the people. One such hardworking and talented postman turned overseer is Chandrakant Gangaram Shirsat, who worked for the last 40 years in the Malad Delivery Post Office Zakaria Road Malad (West) Mumbai and retired on May 31, 2022.

           On this occasion a grand farewell ceremony was organized by all the employees of Malad  Delivery Post Office. During the program the Overseer Shirsat was honored by Postal Postmaster Sandhya Jharapkar with a shawl, coconut and flower bouquet and other people gave gifts. All the Post Office employees, National Association of Postal Employees and other union officials expressed their views. There was an atmosphere of both happiness and sorrow at the same time. Chandrakant Shirsat thanked everyone for their support.

            The present on the occasion includes postmen and officials of the post office and union leaders like Santosh Lad, R.N Rahte, Santosh Paste, V.D Naik, Sanjay Kalokhe, Sadanand Naik Apraj etc. were.
