Dr. Nijar hands over modern aerial ladder hydraulic platform machine to fire brigade Amritsar

Fire can be controlled up to a height of 70 meters and rescue to a height of 52 meters

Amritsar, October 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – To upgrade the fire brigade department of the MCA Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, Local body Minister has handed over the Aerial ladder hydraulic platform machine to MCA in the presence of Mayor Karamjit Singh Rintu. On this occasion, Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that the total cost of this project is Rs. 8.50 crores, including operation and maintenance of the machine for 7 years and the training of the officers and employees of the fire brigade department for the first 6 months will be done by the manufacturing company. He said that by connecting the water browser tender with this machine, which is already received by the Fire Brigade Department under the Smart City Mission, it will be possible to control the fire up to a height of about 70 meters. With this machine, rescue can be done easily even by going up to a height of 52 meters outside the building during an emergency. This machine is equipped with infrared technology, which enables fire fighters to tackle the fire in an effective manner.

On this occasion, Mayor Karamjit Singh Rintu said that the fire brigade department is being upgraded on a priority basis and earlier under the Smart City Mission, the fire brigade department has been upgraded with modern equipment at a cost of around 4.5 crore rupees.
