Commissioner ordered to take action against the company for not working according to the contract agreement

Amritsar, February 7 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Commissioner Harpreet Singh visited  Dana Mandi Garbage Dumping site near Baghtanwala and reviewed the progress of Bioremediation plant and Leachate Treatment plant. Medical officer of Health Dr. Yogesh Arora Chief sanitary Inspector J.P Babbar and Pankaj Upadaya consultant were present there.

Commissioner was apprised that AVARDHA Company has been awarded project work order and it was supposed to start bio Remediation plant after segregation of waste and also to install Leachate Treatment Plant but it has failed to do so after a lapse of so many years.  Commissioner Harpreet Singh took a serious note of it and passed orders to initiate stern action against the company and impose penalty as per clauses of the contract agreement.
