Top Merit positions by Design Deptt. in GNDU Semester Exams

Amritsar, 26 March ( Punjab Post Bureau)-  The Bachelor of Design Department of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, once again bagged number of positions in the semester examination Dec, 2013 conducted by the GNDU. In Bachelor of Design 7^th Semester (all specializations) Vartika Mittal (Textile Designing) topped the merit list by scoring 640/650 marks where as Priyanka Sharma (Textile Designing) and Sonali Behl (Fashion Designing) secured 5^th and 7^th position respectively.  Bachelor of Design 5^th Sem (all specializations) bagged 5 positions out of 10 top positions of the University. Sreejana Kadel (Interior Design) secured IInd position, Priyanka Khanna (Interior Design) and Shikha Mahajan (Fashion Designing) bagged 5^th and 8^th position respectively. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Principal congratulated the students and the staff and wished them best of luck for their future examinations. Mrs. Mandeep Kaur (H.O.D),  Dr. Lalit Gopal, Mrs. Mona Malhotra and Mrs. Ambica Khurana were also present. It is pertinent to note that Bachelor of Design Dept. is running successfully under specializations of Fashion Designing, Textile Designing, & Interior Designing in the college and the students are getting high merit positions and are well placed in their respective fields.
