BBK DAV College for Women organizes Havan in Hostel Premises

Amritsar, January (Punjab Post Bureau) – BBK DAV College for Women organised a Holy Havan in the hostel premises. Sudarshan Kapoor Chairman Local Managing Committee graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia alongwith another guest Mr. Varinder Kapoor offered ‘Aahutis’ in the sacred fire amidst the chanting of Ved mantras.

                   In her address Dr. Pushpinder Walia sought the blessings of the Almighty for the well-being andprogress of the College. Her motivational words infused confidence in the students and encouraged them to inculcate the virtues of compassion, humility, steadfastness, optimism, inner peace, harmony, self-reliance and self-restraint.

                   Chief guest Sudarshan Kapoor bestowed his choicest blessings on the students and elucidated the spiritual and scientific significance of performing Havan.

           On this occasion, Dr. Gauri Chawla Hostel Warden Mrs. Ranjit members of the teaching and non-teaching staff and boarders were also present. The Havan culminated in the distribution of prasad.
