Commendable Performance by DAV Students

Amritsar, August 20 (Punjab Post Bureau) – It’s a matter of immense pride for DAV Public  School Lawrence Road that its students Ashmita Bhatia (Std –X) and Madalsa Sehgal (Std– X) participated in an All India Asteroid Search Campaign held  by AIASC Space – International Astra uncial search  collaboration from June 24 to July 18, 2022.

            The participants had to make observations of near –Earth objects and main belt asteroids by participating in the analysis of images from Pan–Starrs. Its note worthy that both the students brought laurels to the school by achieving great appreciation in this  project and were declared Space Team Astronomy Aces.

              Regional Officer Punjab Zone –A Dr. Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated them for their brilliant achievement and encouraged them to keep up the good show.

                  Dr. Pallavi Sethi Principal of the school applauded their sincere efforts and praised them for their dedication towards their work and for their diligent preparation.
