Hon’ble Justice Surya Kant Judge Supreme Court of India to grace the occasion as Chief Guest
Amritsar, September 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Telecom Disputes Settlement & Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) is scheduled to organise a seminar on “Consumer Grievances & Dispute Resolution in Telecom, Broadcasting & Cyber Sectors” on 23rd September, 2023 in the city. Hon’ble Justice Surya Kant, Judge, Supreme Court of India will grace the occasion as Chief Guest. In addition to this, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Arun Palli, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court would be the Guest of Honour, whereas Shri Vinod Ghai, Advocate General, Government of Punjab will be the Special Guest in the Seminar. Before address by the said dignitaries, Hon’ble Justice D.N. Patel, Chairperson, TDSAT shall deliver the welcome address.
During the Business Session, presentations/talks will be delivered by Shri Aman Pal, Additional Advocate General, Government of Punjab, Shri Pradeep Kumar Saini, President, Amritsar Bar Association, Shri Tejveer Singh Bhatia, Ms. Payal Kakra, Shri Kunal Tandon, Shri Vibhav Srivastava and Shri Himanshu Dhawan, Advocates, on topics relating to “Evolution of
TDSAT”, ‘Standard of Quality of Service and Consumer Interest“, “Highlights of the Data Protection Laws in India”, “Dispute Resolution under IT Act” and “Decoding the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023”, in that order.
The Seminar will comprise of an Inaugural Session followed by a Business Session, which will commence at 10.00 A.M. The Seminar seeks deliberation of various relevant and emerging issues among subject experts.
