Amritsar, 25 Mar ( Punjab Post Bureau) – An outstanding & glorious achievement won by PG Department of Computer Science of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar. By continuing its success streak, once again bagged top position in Guru Nanak Dev University. Madhuri Uppal of M.Sc (Computer Science) Semester-I got Ist position in University by scoring 479/600 marks. Adding another feather to the success story of Dept. of Computer Science Priya of M.Sc (Internet Studies) Sem-III got Ist position in GNDU by securing 493/600 marks. Second and third university positions are bagged by Smridhi with 480/600 marks and Chandan with 467/600 marks respectively. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Principal, congratulated the students and wished them best of luck for their future. Applauding the toppers Ms. Kiran Gupta H.O.D., Mrs. Rajni Mehra, Mr. Manoj Puri, Mr. Akshay Kumar, Mr. Kanwarpal Singh, Mr. Sukhwinder Singh, and Mr. Ankur Sharma congratulated the students for their achievements. Students of Computer Science have always been in limelight and have bagged the top positions ever since the department of computer science emerged. Students of department have been placed in various reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, IBN, Wipro, Genpact, Excel, HCL, Satyam, and iGate.
