Two day’s Annual National conference of Ocular Trauma society of IINDIA OCUTRON-2014 starts from Sept.  6th

Amritsar, Sept. 5 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Annual National conference of ocular trauma society of IINDIA OCUTRON-2014 is being held at holy city of Amritsar for the first time. This conference of prime importance will held on 6^th & 7^th (Saturday & Sunday) September 2014 at Sri Guru Ramdas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Vallah, Amritsar this time. Due to increasing density and number of vehicles on the roads, old road-infrastructure, speed of vehicles, use of alcohol, While driving measuring the road side accidents, many fold and thousands of lives are lost every year. The persons, who survive the accident, may have multiple fractures, multiple body injuries, facial injuries and ocular injuries. The ocular and facial injuries cause irreparable loss of structure and integrity of face, orbit and are always vision threatening. Loss of vision is again agony for the surviving person for whole life. This is very serious outcome. OCUTRON -2014 will give a wide exposure to the young ophthalmologist for managing the ocular trauma. In this National conference the stalwarts of International and National repute are participating, who are having extensive experience in the field of ophthalmogy , ocular trauma and its management . Dr.  H.S. Dua, who discovered Dua’s layer i.e sixth layer of cornea, is specially coming from Nottingham- University, Nottingham England. He will deliver key note address stalwand in the field of ocular injuries are  Air marshal (retired) Dr. M.S. Boparai, Dr. S.Natrajan ( Bombay),Dr. A.K Grover(New delhi), Dr. Quresh Maskati (Bombay), Dr. Daljit singh ,Dr. Ramamurthy, Dr. R.Kim, Dr. Rama Dr.Lalit verma , Dr. Deven Tulli, Dr. Milland Naik ,Dr. Sheikh Sajjad Ahmed , Dr. Purindra Bhasin, Dr. Prashant Bhawan kulle , Dr. B.Shukla , Dr.Brig  J.K.S.
