BBK DAV College Women welcomes its Commonwealth Games participant, Ms. Sushikala (Cycling)

Amritsar, August 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – BBK DAV College welcomed Cycling player Ms. Sushikala who participated in 22^nd Commonwealth games held at Birmingham, United Kingdom, from 28^th July to 8^th August 2022. She scored 6^th position in track cycling Team Sprint event and 17^th position in Keirin (individual) event.

                It is pertinent to note that Ms. Sushikala also won Bronze Medal in Team Sprint event, Asian Championship held at Delhi earlier this year from 18^th to 22^nd June 2022

              While expressing her delight Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia lauded the achievements of Ms. Sushikala and said that it is agreat honor for the college to felicitate its own student who has brought international laurels to the institution. She added that BBK DAV has always been providing its players with best sports facilities and has been consistent in making its mark at national and international sports sphere. Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, Ms. Amandeepkaur, Ms. GursharanKaur, along with the office bearers of the college, were also present on the occasion.
